Inhad a search box under my archives on my front page now neither is there . These things changed when the update occurred . I use categories, I use posts. I used pages. I had my site the way I wanted it is not

Keeping in mind you mention an occurrence of an update, it appears to me the site you are enquiring is for https://www.cbdbiocare.com? If yes, the site you need help with using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

I know this can be confusing, but there are two types of WordPress. Where you are posting now is WordPress.com where the user doesn’t need to run updates of any kind. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
