I hate the new editor

  Up till now I’ve been able to use the old editor. I really hate the new version. I hate the editing stuff being on the left. It’s very annoying and unclear to use, for me, as well. Please bring back at least the option not to be annoyed by beep beep boop or whatever that is. It is really awful.

  Hi there,

  The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor.   You can access the classic editor at Dashboard > Posts > Add New

  I actually had similar feelings to you at first marthakennedy but I’ve used it for a couple of posts now and actually prefer it over the old one. It has many additional options on the right, I love the excerpt option and the fact you can add a featured image and new category so easily. I’m a convert. I hope this might make you go and explore the new editor

  Thanks for the positive feedback. In fact, the new editor has many limitations, and there are features that have been eliminated from it that are found in the classic editor.

  Yes- that’s what I did and I saw the deleted site. Now I don’t see the new site when clicking member, but I do if I click on the Gravatar. And of course the username has changed too. It’s not important :-)
