I hate this RSS thing so much that my groin hurts
-
Hi everyone!
I’m must be a true blonde, because after reading everything I could find on here and in faqs, I still can’t figure out this RSS bit.
The tourist office in my town asked for the RSS feed of my blog and I can’t figure out how to get one/set it up/make it work, etc.Can someone be so kind and spell it out for me without using any three syllable words? How do I get a url for my blog’s feed? And how do I attach that orange icon on my blog? And I don’t know if it matters or not, but they want photos to show in the feed, not just the text.
Thank you so much!
A.the blog is http://utsunomiyadailyphoto.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every blog here on WordPress.com has their RSS feed ending in /feed/
So your RSS feed would be http://utsunomiyadailyphoto.wordpress.com/feed/
You can add the RSS Links widget or the Meta widget to your sidebar so your visitors can quickly get your RSS & comments feeds. The RSS feed for your comments would look like http://utsunomiyadailyphoto.wordpress.com/comments/feed/

Thank you!
What do I put in the title field of the RSS Links widget?
And then there are options for “text link” “image” and “text and image”. I clicked on the “text and image links” and it asked me for image size and color. I’m going crazy with this stuff… -
I didn’t put anything in the title. It’s only if you want a title above the links. And the rest, I usually keep everything as it came and leave it with its default settings. But that’s me. This is how my widget settings look like. http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/4964/rsslinks.jpg
This is how my main page looks like with the RSS Links widget and the Meta widget above it. http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/2006/rsslinks2.jpg
