  There are no pro-rated refunds so be clear on that. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.

  • The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

  It is important to know that cancelled domains are not released by the registrar immediately.   Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
