I have 2 wordpress sites and I want to separate them.

    I want to use one username for one site and another user name for another–more specifically, I am “Bunny Totem Knits” on one site and for the other i want to be anonymous. Can you help?

    Hi there,

    The only way to do this is to create two separate account, each with their own username, password and email address. Then you use one account for each site.

    If both sites are currently in this account, log out and create a new account with a different username. Then log back into this account and transfer ownership of the one site to the new account.

    Hello, Thank you for the reply. I’ve followed your directions and when I try to transfer my blog to a different email address, it says “cannot transfer to that user.” Do you know what I can do about this?

    Are you trying to transfer to the email address, or to the username? If you’ve been using the email address, try the username of the other account instead.

    You can also try first adding the user of the other account as an admin on the site, and then transfer ownership to the other account.

    If none of this works, please let me know the username of the other account, and the URL of the site you’re trying to transfer, and I can do it from my side.
