    I own 2 x WordPress websites and could do with swapping over their web addresses to better match the content. Is there a way to just alter the name somewhere, so I don’t just have to tear them apart please?

    Hi @neilhenthorne, swapping isn’t super easy, but you can rename the sites to new URLs with this technique:

    If you definitely need to swap names, here’s what I recommend:

    – Change site A’s url to something temporary (Site C)
    – Ask us to restore the url for Site A.
    – Export your content from Site B
    – Import it into Site A
    – After ensuring content and media is copied properly, Empty site B
    – Export from site C
    – Import into site B
    – Delete site C

    Does that make sense? It’s a bit of work, but doable. Let us know if you’re going this route and whether you get stuck.
