i have a domain name registered with godaddy.com . is it beneficial to transfer the same to wordpress.com ?

  If you haven’t done so yet, you’ll want to read the support guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ and the WordPressdotcom Terms of Service https://wordpress.com/tos/ to make sure WordPressdotcom is a good fit for your needs.

  If you do upgrade to any WordPressdotcom plan, you’ll also have access to direct support via Live Chat (when available) and email. There’s no trial plan, but all plans come with a refund window of 30 days from purchase (the exception is custom domain registrations, which can be refunded within 48 hours of purchase), so you have time to try it out first.
