I have a domain that is being hosted by someone else but pointing to wordpress
-
I have a domain that I registered with someone else, Bluehost, to be specific. I had mistakenly installed WordPress.org and I am over my head building this site. So I want to you use WordPress.com and have pointed my domain to your servers but have no idea what to do next. Can you assist with next steps?
My other domain is chrischiasson.net
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need to map the domain to WordPress.com
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/You also need to update your DNS at Bluehost to point at WordPress

Fstat,
That’s perfect, thank you. I had already updated the DNS, but I had not mapped the domain. So I will do that.
Once mapped, I should be able to log into WordPress.com and start building correct?

Yes, start building.
Oh! If your domain doesn’t load correctly or you see an error, don’t worry; it can take a few hours for your domain name servers (DNS) to update fully.
