I have a fault on my site and no-one is helping me – how do I get someone to help?!

There is a fault on my site. Two options are unchecked/unselected but still being applied to my site in a way that is detremental to the whole point of my site. I have reported this in the forums twice before but have had no response either time. You call yourselves ‘happiness engineers’ and tell me not ‘to sweat it’ but my experience is the exact opposite. It is the worst customer service to leave someone on their own with zero support after promising the opposite. I am sick, bed bound most of the time and with limited awake time to blog and the last thing I need is to be so isolated when your software fails to work as it should. It looks to me that the only way to get help is to pay for it, which in my circumstances (can’t work obviously) is not an option.
Is there ANYONE who can fix the fault in my site or at least communicate with me to resolve the problem? If not, I have no choice but to tell those complaining to me about the problem that WordPress don’t care and look for another host who will care.
I apologise if this seems too angry or harsh and is not aimed at any individual but I feel rotten anyway and to be isolated with this problem upsets me. It has been 2 weeks of trying to get help without success! I have not described the problem fully in this post because I have already done that twice before and I do not have the energy to repeat that again now, at least, not until I know someone is listening.
Please, someone, help fix my site !
