I have a free subscription and a premium one (need to delete free one)

    I have a free subscription as set this up first and a premium one which I want to use – I am using the same domain. The free is travelling-inflipflops.wordpress.com and the premium is http://www.travelling-inflipflops.com
    Can I delete the free account without deleting the premium?
    I assume having the .wordpress.com differentiates them?

    Howdy taratwy!

    It seems that travelling-inflipflops.wordpress.com doesn’t exist. Do you mean http://travelinginflipflops.wordpress.com/ is the free site you wish to delete? If so, is that site in a different account or under the same account as http://www.travelling-inflipflops.com/?

    Thanks for your reply – apologies for my delayed response!
    Travelling-inflipflops.com is under a different account / username.
    I wanted to delete the free subscription as my computer remembers it and flips me back to that page every now and then when on the back end system and it confuses me (no point having it)
    I only ask in case it deletes the other account Thanks again

    For more clarification, what’s the specific site you wish to delete? If it’s a “domain.WordPress.com” type of site, I can provide instructions to delete it. Keep in mind, deleting a free site with “WordPress” in the domain deletes it forever and it won’t be accessible. In cases of deleting a site, we usually recommend putting the site to Private instead.

    Hi there,

    Your free site is in the taratwy account, so if you log into that account and delete the site, http://travelinginflipflops.wordpress.com, it won’t have any effect on your other site in the flipflopsinthesun account.

    You can’t delete the taratwy account itself, only the site that is owned by the account.
