  I have started this blog recently. But one thing I need to know. How can I add excerpts in my home page. I am a new bie, so need a step by step guide to resolved the matter. Can Anybody Help me out?

  Excerpts of what? Of the main post? A quick search of the Support documents shows that you use the more tag:

  You can insert “the more tag” anywhere in text in a post, provided it’s not into text within blockquotes, and the result will be excerpts. See here for instructions > splitting text – the more tag > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
