  Ok so i was told by someone on fivver if i already have a domain and a host site i don’t need to pay for the business plan on wordpress is that true?

  Yes, that’s true. But, it’s referring to the open source WordPress installation. That’s not what we do here at WordPress.com. We’re a managed environment and you do need that business plan to use plugins with us.

  There’s actually a lot of differences between using WordPress and WordPress.com. Depending on your project scope and experience level, it’s important to pick the right option for success.
