I have a new domain name; how do I create a blog on it?

  I have an old domain name that I want to continue to use for a personal blog (joewittwer.com). I bought a new domain name that I want to use for a private blog site shared with 8 other users (mentors15.org). Can I use them separately without the latter always linking to the former? How do I set up a new blog on the new domain name? Or did I do this all wrong by getting a new domain name? I’m trying to get the new blog up and running soon since the other 8 guys are waiting on me! Help!

  Hey Joe,

  Technically, you probably should have started the new private, shared site first. Then, you could have added the new domain to it. However, never fear! :) I can help you transfer your domain to a new site.

  If you register a new WordPress.com blog, then get back to me, I will move mentors15.org to it.

  Here are the instructions to add a new site to your account:

  Let me know when that is done and what the WordPress.com site name it. I can then move your custom domain to it.

  I have created the blog: mentors15.wordpress.com. Would you please move it to the mentors15.org domain and let me know when that is done? Thanks so much!
