I have a PC and iPhone & iPad. I’ve set up Google authenticator for PC but I can’t seem to do it for iPhone & iPad as I cannot print from these devices.

If you wish to use the devices for your authentication codes, you will need to download the application and set it up on the device.
If you wish to log into WordPress.com from either of those devices after setting up two-step authentication, you will need to first create and use an application-specific password. This only needs to be done once to establish that the device is yours, and then you would follow the normal login procedures (username, password and 2-step code) to log into your account.
