I have a pre-existing domain, So how will it look in the search bar once I register the name with wordpress ? Will it be janedoe.com or will it be janedoe.wordpress.com ?

  Hi there,

  It depends on whether or not you pay for a plan. If you pay for a plan, you have the ability to set the primary domain or the domain that will show in the search bar, as janedoe.com. Otherwise, if you just have the domain subscription, visitors can type in janedoe.com to get to your site, but it will forward to janedoe.wordpress.com, and that is what you see in the search bar.
