I have a second WP account, username 'photographerinthefamily'. CANT ACCESS IT!
-
I have a second rarely used WP blog, with the above username. I have tried all day to retrieve the pw to manage the account, but cannot. I’m running in circles. The email connected to it has changed and thus I cannot access it using the email it was setup with years ago.
HELP ME! I just want to change the associated email so that I may manage settings and just plain make a post!
Please

Hi there –
Please submit this account recovery form:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryWe will follow up by email.

I do not have any of the ownership keys you require. This is an old account, and it’s nowhere in my email history.
What else is there to do? -
So my contact email has changed, but I cannot access my account because I can’t receive a password reset email.
Apparently my pw changed due to hackers. see your email pasted below. I recall changing the password per your instructions, but it didn’t take.
This is the only ownership proof I can supply without an email from you- likely in an old email heap with my old website (email) providerHello,
Recently a group of hackers released the email addresses and passwords of over 160 million LinkedIn accounts, and as the email address associated with your WordPress.com account was on this list, we have reset your password as a precaution to protect your identity and keep your site(s) safe.
To reset your password and regain access to your account and blog, please follow these steps:
1. Go to WordPress.com
2. Click the “Login” button on the homepage
3. Click on the link “Lost your password?”
4. Enter your WordPress.com username: terribahunart
5. Click the “Get New Password” button
It is very important that your password be unique. Using the same password on different web sites increases the risk of your account being hacked. Now would be a good time to go through all of your online services and set distinct, strong passwords for each.
Once you’re logged in, please consider making your account even more secure by enabling two-step authentication. To do so, from the WordPress.com home page, click on your avatar at the top right of your screen and click the “Security” link from the menu on the left of your profile page. Next, click on the “Two-Step Authentication” link at the top of the security page and follow the instructions.
If you have trouble resetting your password, please reply to this message to get help from our support team. We will never ask you to supply your account password or financial information via email.
