I have a site with lots of old content. How do I migrate it to a new word press?

    I have a local newspaper website with years and years of old content that I don’t want to lose. I want to start using the Word Press content management system going forward.

    Is there a way to do so without losing all of my accumulated content? Is there a way I can transfer the archive of my current to website into a Word Press site?

    Hi,
    Wordpress.COM allows you to import content from supported blog platforms. If the platform from your old website is not supported in this option, you can try converting first your content to one of the accepted formats. For more information, check out this link:
