I Have A Spambot That Continues To Follow and Like

  I have some bot following my blog and then liking and reliking my latest post.

  When I remove them as a follower it resubscribes and likes the post.

  The name is attractionteacher with ID being @adminattractionga.

  There should be a way to blacklist followers.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They’re a real person with real sites.

  Why do you feel they’re a spam bot?

  Which person takes times to relike a post every 10 to 15 minutes?

  I have at least 15 emails saying the same person liked the same post.

  Which person resubscribes to a blog after being removed 3 times and they do so in less than 2 minutes?

  Correction, it was 33 e-mails stating this user has liked the exact same post in less than 10 hours. I finally had to kill all notifications and e-mail from wordpress because it is a distraction.

  Looking at their profile, they repeat the same 3-4 posts every couple of days.

  This is definitely not a person.

  That’s a pretty good question, we’ll look into that.

  Well, that could simply be a person who wants to be subscribed to your blog and doesn’t like how you keep removing them.

  I’m sorry, but the only way to prevent subscribers that you don’t approve of is to make your site private.

  Public sites are accessible to a public audience, they’re free to view and follow your site as desired.
