I have a strange but fully justified problem
-
A couple of years back I started a new blog as http://kostas100.wordpress.com/ for a variety of reasons it ended with minimum input and use. This is my fault. Today when I tried to log in, the site was fully visible but I was unable to find the login link. As I was browsing around I got in to another WordPress.com hosted blog and decided to login there. It did accept me. I did not try to add or change anything, but went back to my blog, where the login screen was still not available but I was given the right to edit my content. I did that and ended up in my control panel. I suppose for me and now, this is good news but it is very strange and potentially dangerous. I am assuming that after a long idle time the login is removed or it maybe it is theme dependent. I am using the Twenty Ten theme and when I logged in the other blog the login bar was at the very top.
If you can help me I will greatly appreciate it.Thank you for your patience and generosity.

Just an addon with the solution:
When I thought I was login to another blog I was wrong. I simply clicked on the bottom right hand corner link “Blog στο WordPress.com” (http://el.wordpress.com/?ref=footer) which opened the top bar for login logout etc.
Sorry about that, Sokrates used to say: I teach while perpetually I learnCostas

Hi Costas,
It sounds like you were able to get everything sorted. Is that right?
The login link, which is part of the Meta Widget, will only appear on your site if you have that widget activated:
