I have a topic of the day in my menu

    I need to be able to post a different topic when you click on the topic of the day tab without disturbing the main page in other words when people click on topic of the day I would like for the topic of the day to be displayed how do i add the pages for this

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    You can create a new page with a name: Topic of the day.
    Go to My Site -> Site Pages ->Add.

    Type this shortcode in the Visual Editor of that page:
    [display-posts tag="topic" posts_per_page="1" include_content="true"]

    Link the tab in your menu (where people would click on topic of the day) to this new page.
    Go to My Sites -> Customize -> Menus -> Primary -> Add items.
    Select the new page you just created. Remove the old topic of the day link.
    Click Publish.

    When you are ready to add a new topic of the day, you can go to My Site -> Blog Posts -> Add. Add a new post, but make sure under ‘Categories and Tags’, give it a tag – “topic”.

    Now if someone clicks on the tab in your main menu – topic of the day, it will bring them to the page with the latest topic of the day.

    Note: New posts, and updates to existing posts will be displayed within one hour of publishing.
