  I have a website which we updated from Brinkster. We are using WordPresss.brinkster.net and tried to publish our new website. It did not accept the clannapieramerica.org domain. Our site with you is Clan Napier in North America at http://Wordpress.brinkster.net/cnna1/we-login.php We need assistance to publish and dissolve our old website at Brinkster Mary Napier Libhardt for CNNA1

  We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and that one is not among them. Our support docs do not apply to (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

  We do have a site. ClanNapier in North America.
  cnna1 our old website was with Brinkster and it was transferred to WordPress.com. I am was working in editing. I tried to publish, which is what they told me to do when I was finished. Can you publish from WordPress.

  Our domain is clannapieramerica.org and I thought we could use the same one here at WordPress. Is this correct.

  We are located at WordPress.brinkster.net at least that is where they uploaded our website to rebuild with WordPress.
