    I have a wordpress site on aws lightsail How I can restore that on this new site?

    Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

    To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.     Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at AWS hosting. As a result we are not able to offer backups and historical data for sites hosted elsewhere. Of course, we would love to host your site here, where we we are happy to help further. But as it stands now, we can’t assist.

    The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance since they typically manage backups for the sites they host. I recommend contacting AWS hosting for further assistance since they are in the best position to help.
    After you have restored your site at AWS hosting to normal working order, you are welcome to migrate your site to our WordPress.com managed hosting by using this plugin.
