  I have a wordpress xml document can it be imported to a free wordpress.com site?

  I just followed those instructions last night and ran into a huge headache with the images.

  Basically, all the image files were moved over to be hosted on [myblog].files.wordpress.com/path/to/img.jpg, but NONE of the posts were updated to reflect the new location of the images. So now, no images are displaying in any transferred post.

  I’m sure I’m not the first person to run into this problem, but I wanted to give a heads-up about this while I’m trying to track down a response.
