I have admin login info but no Word Press login credentials?

    We had a web developer set up our website and he has since disappeared. Before leaving he gave us the admin login information for the website and we have finished developing it without him. However we have an issue that has come to our attention recently and that is we do not have a Word Press login to manage the site. We only have the admin login that allows us to do almost everything, but it is not the account that set up the website. How would we go about recovering this information? We need it to create support tickets and to link our wordpress account/website with other plugin developers.

    You would need to contact your former developer for the login credentials.

    Also, based on what you described, it seems like your site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com and you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site (What’s the difference?).

    If you do have a self-hosted WordPress.org site, any issues, you have with plugins, installed themes, etc., WordPress.org/support would be able to assist.
