I have an about page, how do i link this to the blog page?

    how do i link pages with blogs
    I am new to blogs, i have created an about page at http://20society14.wordpress.com/pps/ expecting this to then link to the blog at http://20society14.wordpress.com/2014/06/14/bringing-the-blog-to-life/ and all subsequent blogs.. but this does not appear to be happening. I need the about page to link to a page where the blogs can be viewed in sequence. Help.

    Hi there. By default your home page (http://20society14.wordpress.com/) displays your posts in reverse-chronological order. At the moment it seems you have only one post (correction – while I was typing this you seem to have deleted it) published there, but as you publish more posts the newest posts will always be added at the top.

    Pages like your about page are static, i.e. they don’t automatically update. If you’re using the theme’s default menu all new pages are automatically added to that, allowing users to navigate to those pages.

    Your theme, however, does not display a default menu, so you’ll need to create a custom menu. Go to Appearance ->Menus in your dashboard. There you’ll be able to add the about page to the menu: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

    If you want the content of the about page to appear at the top on your home page you’ll have to copy its content into a post, and then set that post as sticky when you publish it. That way it will always appear on top on your home page with the other posts underneath it, most recent first.
