Hello? Are you aware that this is my livelihood? I asked for your help an hour ago. I think its completely ridiculous that you don’t have a phone number. What kind of business are you? I will be switching blog sites. and I will not ever recommend you to anyone. As a business owner, I am in disbelief at the lack of care your company gives its members.

I am able to share the link to both Facebook and Twitter but, I see the thumbnail image is empty. This is because you have not set up a blavatar, or blog icon yet.

But you’re using the free version of WordPress. Why should you get premium support if you’re not paying for anything?

Hi trulyboring! I am not looking for premium support… I have been asking for any help for a week. ANY support would be nice.
I have decided to hire someone to help me create a website. You are absolutely right about getting what I pay for. I am, however hoping to still use this for just the blog or I suppose create a new one.
Also, pardon my ignorance but I am not sure what a web host is… I am the farthest thing from computer knowledgeable on the planet.

also, I did these three steps and the icon you are suggesting is for my whole site, not for each individual article. Do you know what I mean when I say that my articles aren’t posting? there is not even a title associated with what I am posting

You say you can’t get WordPress.com posts to appear on Facebook. Is this something that was working before but no longer works or is it something you are trying to set up for the first time? Have you read these instructions:-

themagicrobot that is absolutely hilarious. And astute. You see, I make it a point to be kind to all living beings. However, when I have asked for help many times with no response and am recovering from a very painful surgery whereby I have not been able to eat solid food for 10 days so far, I begin to lose my patience. Please do not take this as a testament to my regular character!

That’s ok. We all have bad days. But here on the Interweb WRITING IN CAPITALS is considered the equivalent of shouting/swearing. And I’ve discovered that people who post as many details as possible here about what they’re clicking on and where it is they are getting stuck are the most likely to get a nice short concise answer to their problems. Just sayin. Happy holidays.

Just to clarify, I did mean to yell certainly not swear though)… when I spoke in a “regular voice” ie lower case, nobody responded. Now, after I use caps, I have three or four people who can help me. I am really not computer literate at all, so explaining what I did or did not do would not be much help, though I do appreciate your input a lot, and will definitely pay attention to what I am doing in order to relay it properly next time.

Facebook changes their image requirements from time to time and once you have publicized or shared a post to FB it is cached in their system. So what that means is if the first time you shared your image didn’t fit their requirements, that cache will need to be cleared out. First make sure your post image is suitable and then go to http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug and follow the instructions there.

Correct. The blog icon is for the entire blog. If you or someone else share a link to the blog on Facebook, the blog icon will display as a thumbnail image. Otherwise, that square will remain empty.
