I have been able to use Copy A Post and now it is not working

  Copy A Post is no longer working. Instead of providing a list of posts for me to copy, now a new blank post opens every time I try to use Copy A Post. Why is this happening?

  Hi Donell, I’m sorry that it isn’t working for you. I tested it out and it’s working for me, so would you mind creating a screenshot of what you see when you try to use it? That could help me figure out what’s going wrong.

  Once you’ve created it, just upload it to your Media Library and I’ll take a look.

  I have uploaded the screen shot to my media library. I don’t know what happened. I may have changed some of the settings without knowing it. But I don’t get the menu of posts to copy from anymore. A new post window always opens.

  Hi Donell, unfortunately the screenshot doesn’t contain the Copy a Post box, so it doesn’t give me any clues about the problem.

  Could you scroll down to the Writer Helper box underneath the post editor, and click the Copy a Post button (if it’s not already active), then retake the screenshot?

  OK. That is the problem. I have been using the tab under the POSTS heading in the menu on the left of the page. This is how I have always accessed Copy A Page. I just tried what you suggested under writing helper through the drop down feature and it revealed Copy A Page and it worked. I was not aware that it had moved, or the tab in the menu had been deactivated. Thanks.

  Hi Donell, I’m sorry for the trouble. The link in the sidebar should take you directly to it, but it won’t work if you have JavaScript disabled in your web browser, or if a browser extension interferes with it, etc.

  I’m glad that you’re able to access it directly, though. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do.
