I have been charged twice

  I renewed http://www.isfatweighingyoudown.com and just charged $18.00 to AMEX. I received two receipts with the same receipt number. I do NOT want to renew http://www.fatweighingyoudown and don’t know how to cancel that.

  HELP.

  Your domain fatweighingyoudown.com was just renewed — do you want me to cancel the domain and refund that renewal payment for you?

  Please keep in mind that cancelling a domain name means that you give up ownership of that domain entirely. There’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use that domain again in the future or register it elsewhere after it’s cancelled.

  Hi there – the domain I want – isfatweighingyoudown is due to renew on May as you state. Therefore, I don’t need fatweighingyou down so yes, I want to exclude that blog.

  On another note, when I try to reset my password for primary email “pointspluspro” (there is a ramblingrosie blog under that address” the RESET PASSWORD email I receive is attached to my rosieagent2013 account.

  I want to cancel ramblingrosie but can’t login or reset my password to login and use the Tools to delete the blog. And I think I just renewed it – and I think this is the blog for which I was charged twice.

  Thanks for confirming. I cancelled the domain fatweighingyoudown.com for you and refunded that renewal payment, as you requested.

  The account ramblingrosie and its blog are linked to a different email address. (Your pointspluspro email address is only linked to your account rosieagent2013.) You can reset the password for ramblingrosie by logging out of WordPress.com and entering the username ramblingrosie in the password reset form here:

  https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  That will send the password reset link to the email address for that account, so you can reset the password and log in.

  If you run into trouble with that, please follow the instructions in our Account Recovery guide to regain access to that account. (By following the steps in that guide you’ll be able to privately discuss the details about that account with our recovery team.)
