If you’re still within the refund period, go to the Manage Purchases page.
Just below the domain name you want to cancel, click on Cancel and Refund. That leads you to a confirmation page. Click the Cancel and Refund button to proceed.
You will receive an email with a Confirm Cancellation link to click.
If you don’t see the email on your inbox, check the spam/junk folder.
Please note that the refund process may take a couple of days to be proceeded.You can find more information about domain refunds at this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

Do you happen to know the custom domain that was renewed?
The issue is that the purchase was not made under the account you are contacting us from. In order to provide a refund, I will need for you to post in this thread from the account associated with the upgrade.

This is the only account i have with WordPress.
The transaction appeared not to go through but i was deducted in the end.
This is tge message i received from my bank.

What’s the domain name? I take it that the domain is associated with a different host if you do not have another account with us because there is no custom domain under your account.

Yes this is the only account I have with WordPress.

godinvestsinme.com is not registered with WordPress.com, but with Siteground.
You will need to contact them in regards to your payment.

I know i have registered with Siteground
But i tried registering with WordPress and it was delaying and giving me error statements.
Later on I received a message from my bank that i have been deducted.
You can check your records of such payments. This is the message i received and cross check on your accounts.

I have sent you the message i received and the action i took that caused it. I tried to register the domain godinvestsinme.com and it was saying there’s a problem with my card but it later went through. I received the message that i have made payment to your company.

I checked your accounts and do not see any such charge for that amount.
If you go to https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/, you can put in your credit card information to retrieve what exactly you were charged for. Then, if you want to e-mail your findings to support[at]wordpress.com, we should be able to assist you then.
I just don’t see any signs of a charge on my end here, so your best bet is to check that site and see if anything comes up.
