  I wanted to transfer it to shopify but It appears I can’t buy it from them not until it becomes unregistered… please assist

  also wanted to transfer it to them because I can use that domain for my email for free… in wordpress it asks me to pay for a mail box…

  is it the only option?

  Hi there,

  Your domain should become available again later this week. Then, you’ll be able to register it directly with the provider where you want to use it. But, if you don’t want to wait, I can still restore it manually for you by sending you a payment form. Then you can point it to the other provider.

  Just let me know what works best for you.

  Oh! Actually I just noticed your request was from a while ago. This domain is released now, so you’re welcome to buy it here or at the provider of your choice and pay directly. Our .com registrations are currently $12/year, and you can use them with any hosting provider, or buy hosting here.

  And note we (like many hosts) do include a free domain registration with your first year of hosting if you want to use WordPress.com again. Let us know how we can help!
