I have cancelled my domain name. When will that be processed so that i can buy it elsewhere?

  Hi, How long will it take for the domain cancellation to be processed so i can try and buy it elsewhere?

  Hi, actually it shows as active right now. To answer your question though, domains cancelled within 48 hours of registration can usually be released within a few business days.

  Domains that were older when they were cancelled can actually take weeks if not months, and may not be released at all, so you would want to avoid cancelling and use a different method to do that.
