    i have changed my theme , it was a lot of work and its not finished yet what do you ( and others think ) think , should i add:- rss links , blog subscriptions or anything else , harry

    Always have an RSS link. So much easier for people to keep track of your posts. In m opinion anyway.

    I agree. Let the readers select what they want to use. They can always ignore features they dont care about…

    Top ‘O the day to thee. :)

    As we have formed an online friendship and you are aware that I am a plain speaking person I will be blunt, and thankful that you have enough self confidence that I don’t have to mnice words or assuage your ego.

    The two worst themes when it comes to visually challenged people being able to read the text on the dark backgrounds are Chaotic Soul and Sunburn. You have previously used these themes and I could not be of much help simply because attempting to read the text moved me close to triggering a migraine. The Andreas09 is highly readable. Hooray! for readability.

    1. Do you need to post an RSS feed widget – yes!
    2. Do you need to have a links widget – yes! And don’t forget that I have previously researched and provided you with the links to the authoritative sites in your niche.
    3. Blog subscriptions widget? Provided you want to manage subscriptions then go for it.
    4. Most popular tags widget in your right hand sidebar – YUCK! The fonts are far to large and it looks terrible.
    5. I believe raincoaster and I have previously told you not to use more than a combined total of 10 relevant categories and tags on any given post, right? Well I’m seeing more than 10 so please read this support entry > http://en.support.wordpress.com/global-tags/#missing-posts Also note wherever possible tags ought to be a single word or at most 2 -3 words. You have “tags” that are longer and they will do sweet muck all for you in search engine results. The whole concept behind effective tagging is less is more! Those who are thinking the opposite and assuming more tags and tags comprised of lots of words are effective when it comes to getting search engine attention are 100% wrong.

    That’s enough from me. Any more would require a consultant’s fee … lol :D

    when you said weeks ago you could not read my site i thought you may not be alone , so i was looking for a full width 2 column theme and got it , but it was a lot of work going through all the posts , pages and cat’s taking out the colour code , still a few more to do. anyway i’m glad you like it better

    Make sure not to add more than 12 categories or tags. Too many will look like spam and get you kicked off the global tag page.
