  I have created new free wp site – but have not received activation email – I am using my @btinternet.com email address.

  what is wrong?!

  thanks for your reply. I am not using either a Gmail or a Google Apps account I am using a btinternet email address.

  I can login to the account but get message to check for the activation email !!

  What is going on?!

  I should add that I am using Outlook for receiving email and there is nothing in the junk folder.

  Hi @gac008, it looks like we’ve sent quite a few emails actually, including several to activate the account. They seem to be going through, too. Can you check your spam folders and what not, and possibly check with the email provider to see if they’d be discarding these emails for any reason?

  Also, I was able to find some ideas by searching for BTMail Missing Emails. I’ll try sending via another method, too, to see if we can confirm your account that way.
