I have deactivated my blog and I would like to re-activate or start a new one WITH THE SAME URL, how

  I joined wordpress.com a few days ago. I de-activated the blog because I was struggling with the design of the page and I thought that I would be easy to start over. Now the problem is that if I want to start a new blog, I can not use the URL of the old one (vote4eli.wordpress.com). I DO NOT want to use another URL.

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don’t believe that’s possible.

  According this this support document, once a blog has been deleted, it cannot be reactivated, and they don’t make exceptions.

  WordPress.com tries to avoid this through multiple reminders–did you click the ‘delete site’ button to fully delete your blog? If you did, it’s gone for good, unfortunately.
