  It goes over the difference between Transferring a domain and Connecting it.

  In short: connecting makes the domain work with our services. Transferring can make it work with our services AND you would also renew the domain here, instead of paying yearly at your current domain provider.

  And in either case, you’ll get a temporary address you can work with first if you need to set up a new site here before going live.
