I have email addresses for a several people on the members page

    I click on their email address to see if I can email a message to them. It comes up
    about Microsoft edge trying to open windows live mail.

    That isn’t a WordPress issue. That is about your computer and how it handles email addresses. It appears to be looking for your email client.

    The file with the email addresses is an uploaded PDF file with clickable email addresses.

    I suggest you google the error message you received and see what you need to do to set your default email program or correct the issue.
