I have had 1 domain for 2 years, but I want a different one.

  I don’t know how to cancel Kashascornerblog.com. I want to change it to KLHuguleyPhotography.com. I want to make sure I’m not selecting things I will have to pay for or mess something else up. I don’t need to keep the old information. I can start fresh.

  Hi there,

  Not a problem! As you may or may not know, you can’t really change a domain name, you can only let an old domain expire (or cancel it) and buy a new one to put in its place.

  The two domains I see in your account are kashabugscorner.com and klhuguley.com which expire Dec 12, 2015 and Nov 12, 2015 respectively (I’m guessing you decided on klhuguley.com instead of klhuguleyphotography.com?), and both point to the same blog.

  You can set either domain to be the primary domain (so the domain which stays in the location bar when someone visits the site) by following the directions right here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/domains-settings/#changing-your-primary-domain

  Thank you very much for the help! I was so overwhelmed last night!

  I would like to cancel them and start over. I don’t know that I can have klhuguleyphotography.com – since that is linking to my other photography site.

  I just want to start fresh. I cancelled my order and will wait. It’s confusing having the two.
