I have issue upload a PDF file since yesterday

    last time the upload of PDF document is all OK, but since yesterday, it always give this error: Failed to load PDF document.

    Please help.

    Can you provide the direct URL of the page/post where the pdf upload is located? I would like to take a look at what I see on this end.

    the above link says Fail to load PDF.

    the strange thing I find out is this:
    When the PDF is generated from Word file, save as PDF, it has the issue.
    When the PDF is generated from the Word file, using Print PDF, it does not have the issue. Why?
    Long time ago, when I upload my PDF using from Word to save as PDF, it does not have this issue.

    Hi there,

    This is an issue with the file itself, not with WordPress.com. That error message comes from your browser’s built-in PDF reader. I see the same thing on my end, and if I download the file from your site and try to open it in Adobe Reader it also won’t open with an error that the file is not properly encoded.

    We don’t change that file in any way when you upload it to the media library, so the problem here is with how MS Word is encoding the file when it’s being saved. Most likely a recent update to Word itself broke something, so please contact Microsoft support about this instead.
