I have lost access to my free WordPress website that I have managed for years

I have lost access to my free WordPress website that I have managed for years. When I try to login to my site, I receive this popup notification “User ******** Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested” At this point, I am logged-in to WordPress, however my website no longer appears in my account. I have tried multiple times to submit a recovery form to https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery. After filling in the recovery form fields and clicking to submit the form, I am looped back to the same recovery form webpage page with no indications that the form was submitted or as to why it was not submitted.

It’s obvious you are logged in to the wrong account. What is the URL of the site you are talking about?

Thank you for your reply staartmees. I am not trying to login to the wrong account as I only have one login account and one site. I was successfully logged in a couple of weeks ago as I performed modifications to the site. Sometime since then, my administrator access has disappeared. My immediacy is that the WordPress online recovery form webpage to request reinstatement of my access to my website is not functioning. I have found no other way to contact WordPress Help Support other than leave a message in this forum and hoping for a reply. My URL site is still active and being accessed my our members. I just cannot access it for modifications. Additionally, I prefer not to openly broadcast my website URL to a public forum.

You are logged in to the account https://wordpress.com/forums/users/russellhadams/ which was created in December 2019. If you can’t access the unnamed site with this account and it hasn’t been deleted then logic dictates that you must have another account. The URL would have helped. Is the unnamed site hosted here or somewhere else as you could be using the same password at two different companies.

Thanks for the reply themagicrobot. My website, the topic of this forum post, only exist on WordPress.com. The website is still up and running and available to the members that use it. I only have one WordPress login account. This website site no longer appears in my account when I log in. I am the only administrator for this site. That is why I have been trying to use the WordPress https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery webpage which does not appear to be functioning. Thus my hope for a WordPress Help Support person to see this forum post and respond.

Without knowing the URL is almost impossible to help, so you must solve this yourself. You must take a look on that site to find out who is the author of the blog posts. Once you know who is the author, you know what account owns that site
