I accidentally got made me a blog, but I want a website.
I can change it so that my domain name is the same, but just on a webpage?Dianna

There is no accident. A blog is a website.
A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.

there is a big different between Diannabjerregaard.com and diannabjerregaard.wordpress.com why is this? i payed for Diannabjerregaard.com but everything i make only get showed on diannabjerregaard.wordpress.com and the stuff on diannabjerregaard.com have i no idea where is coming from?Dianna

I’m happy to clarify a bit! First, regarding the difference between Diannabjerregaard.com and Diannabjerregaard.wordpress.com, when you setup a site at WordPress.com, you’ll automatically be given a site address like diannabjerregaard.wordpress.com. However, when you purchase a custom domain, that domain replaces your WordPress.com URL. You will see your WordPress.com URL when you’re editing posts, but visitors will only see your custom domain. Anything you post to diannabjerregaard.wordpress.com would be shown at diannabjerregaard.com.
Regarding the site versus blog issue, by default, your site (diannabjerregaard.com/diannabjerregaard.wordpress.com) is setup like a blog (with your front page displaying latest posts). Normally, the main difference between a website and a blog is that the former is meant to have static content (content that isn’t updated very frequently). You can set up static front pages at WordPress.com as described here:
