i have mistakenly purchased a new domain when I wanted to renew,.now I have two and can’t access the original

  I need help sorting this out. I don’t need two of the same thing and I don’t want to lose all the work I put into the original. To further complicate..I can’t recall the password…

  What is the original domain that you are trying to renew and under which username did you purchase it?

  Did you purchase the new domain under this same username account you are posting from? If so, and it’s been less than 96 hours, you can request a refund for the new domain in your Manage Purchases dashboard at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases See here https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#cancel-a-domain-name

  Please do not share here any sensitive info like passwords or financial information.

  I’ve also flagged this for Staff, but being a holiday it might take a bit longer for them to reply.

  I do not see any upgrades under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/.

  Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? What is the URL of the site associated with the upgrade you are needing help with? Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
