I have a great deal of music on my site. After playing about 5 songs, the music players stop responding to ‘play’ clicks until I go to ‘view’ and click ‘reload?’ This is a new problem for me and is very frustrating.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for reporting this. It looks to be an issue with Infinite Scroll. I could see the error you mentioned, but only after reaching the second load of posts:

I replicated the problem on a test site and running other themes, so I’ve reported this to our developers. For an immediate work-around, I’d recommend disabling Infinite Scroll.

Will return here to let you know whenever the developers have more information or a fix in place though.

    Thanks again,

    -Alex G.

How do I disable infinite scroll, and what will my blog look like then?

    Thanks, Paul @Blogfinger.net

    Hi Paul,

Visit your Reading Settings in /wp-admin/:

    https://blogfinger.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Scroll down to the ‘To infinity and beyond’ and uncheck the option.

    Scroll down and save changes.

What this changes is that instead of automatically loading new posts as your readers scroll down the home page, they’ll get to a button that says ‘Older Posts’ (or ‘previous posts’ or something like that. The wording changes depending on your theme.)

When they click that button they’ll get the next page of your posts.
