I have my domain hosted over Godaddy. I only have one page website

  I have my domain and one page website hosted over Godaddy. I want to learn to build a full website using wordpress and once is complete and I like then I will transfer to wordpress to host but I don’t want to do anything until my website is ready. For me to register here I have to choose to either transfer or map but I don’t want to touch anything until my website is ready. What can I do to start creating my website?

  You could create a free site here at WordPress.com. The free address you chose wouldn’t be critical if your intention was to transfer or map the domain name you own to the WordPress.com site in due course.
