  My domain is with Google. What do I need to do in order to use the domain on this platform?

  To use a domain you already own with a site on WordPress.com, first upgrade the site to a paid plan.

  Then you can either map the domain here while leaving it registered at Google, or you can transfer the domain registration to us completely:
