  I have my own domain at GoDaddy .com: ‘saveyourpetslives’ and I’m trying to decide whether to map it or use it? I have two there at GoDaddy.com actually and the other one is ‘saveourpets.info’. What is the better way? If I transfer it to my WordPress.om website will it change it from https://wordpress.com/home/allwhatyouneedtoknowaboutyourpetsfood.wordpress.com to http://www.saveyourpetslives.com or .wordpress.com?

  Hi @dnaffzig66506743, if you map the domain or transfer it, with a paid plan, it will remove the .wordpress.com from your address for you.

  The advantage to transferring instead of mapping, is simply that your billing is in one place, and we include free WHOIS privacy.
