i have my own domain from godaddy

    i want to add my custom domain which i purchases from go daddy , i purchased for 900 per year but when i add my own domain then wordpress is asking for money to connect my domain into wordpress , please fix this . i dont have enough money please give me permission to set up for free . thank you sir

    Hi @anubhav3097, you’ll need a domain as well as hosting. And you can have free hosting here, but we require a paid plan to connect domains.

    If you aren’t able to buy a paid plan, you can redirect from your domain to anubhav3097.wordpress.com if you’d like. I think GoDaddy will let you set up a redirect in your account with them. Just avoid using “invisible” redirects (stealth, ghost, framed — they go by different names) because those can cause problems with bookmarking and SEO.
