The webiste ~I have no access to is we-love-wood.com – the subscripers are lost, and so are and so are all the hits on the site… (11,000).. hits I currently have 2.

    https://woodworkshop.wordpress.com/wp-login.php is the log-in for we-love-wood.com – your WordPress.COM blog

we-love-wood.com is fine and the subscribers are safe – you can have the staff move the subscribers to madebystephenhughes.com if you want – you need to have installed the JetPack Plug-in for the subscribers to be moved

    http://madebystephenhughes.com/wp-login.php is the log-in for madebystephenhughes.com – your WordPress.ORG install

I will flag this for the staff to help

For your .ORG install you need to get help for that at WordPress.ORG

Sorry you got lost in the archives here

    Hope this helps a bit

    Hi thewoodworkshop,

Did auxclass resolve your login issues for you? Please let me know.

Also, I’d be happy to transfer your stats and subscribers. Please confirm that you wish to move the subscribers and stats from woodworkshop.wordpress.com to madebystephenhughes.com, and then connect Jetpack to the account that owns the blog woodworkshop.wordpress.com (which is not thewoodworkshop) and I can take care of this for you.

    Hi Jackiedana

I have two wordpress.com accounts and wish I had one!
but both really do need to be merged!
I also have a WOrdpress.org account (which used to be one of my wordpress.com) websites

I often get mail sent to both accounts and have to log out and back in again and often then not the passwords do not get regognised and I have to reset them.

    the websiets are:
    we-love-wood.com (wordpress.com)
    madebystephenhughes.com (wordpress.org – used to be a wordpress.com) site

today I can’t log in to my we-love-wood.com (wordpress.com) website
password needs resetting… and I’m not getting any emails sent to be to do so…. help!

    Hi thewoodworkshop,

It looks like you have two different user accounts, and have recently logged into both. It also looks like you transferred we-love-wood.com (aka woodworkshop.wordpress.com) from your current account to a different user account.

In order to manage that site, you will need to be logged into that account.

Because each account has a different email address, and likely a different password, I can appreciate how this can be confusing. However, for security reasons I cannot share with you what the other username or email address is.

If you can sort this out, what I would recommend is this:

Once you have again successfully logged into both accounts, you should decide which of the two user accounts you want to continue to use, and make that user an admin user on all blogs on the other account. Then contact us from the account you want to keep using, and we can transfer the blogs and upgrades from the other account to that one.

In the meantime, if you need help accessing your other account, please use the password recovery form at https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and click on the “Need more help?” link to submit an account recovery ticket.

    Hi Jackkiedana
    Thanks for responding so promptly!
The account I want to keep is : mywoodworkshop
which contains about 5 urls (madebystephenhughes.com) etc

the old account with a new name: stephenhughes
which contains x1 url: we-love-wood.com I would like moving to the first account: mywoodworkshop

If you wish for more passwords/email addresses etc please email me directly: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

PS – the staff will NEVER ask for any password – they have access to your account to transfer blogs and such

  • Unknown's avatar

If you can make sure all subscribers, and comments etc are transferred too – sorry to be so fussy!

  • Unknown's avatar

Since they are transferring the whole blog – just to a different account the subscribers, stats, comments and such will all transfer with the blog – all that will change is that you will have one account that will access everything –

  • Unknown's avatar

Thanks – I just thought best to offer as its often hard to prove who you are if you have more than one account and different passwords etc!!
    Thanks however!
    Steve

If you can log into a specific account and post to the forum – that proves to everyone that your password & log-in is valid – so no need to provide the password – the staff asks that requests come from specific accounts and that they be logged into that account when they make a request for something to happen – that helps to prove ownership – and the staff can see who the owner is for each blog – if everything does not match up they request you to log into the proper account, as they did for you above, sort of simple but works quite well

good luck with your woodworking stuff – looks nice – passed the links on to a friend that does woodworking – he thought the work was nice also

    I’m logged in as: thewoodworkshop
and this is the account I want to keep!
    as it contains
    madebystephenhughes (my wood turning website)
    2d/3d designer (my 3d portfolio)
about head injury (speaks for insect))
and x2 blogs (both called myblog) I ‘ve tried to delete in the past!
this message is also in my blog (madebystephenhughes) and will also be in my url that need to me moved – we-love-wood)

  • Unknown's avatar

I hope this helps! – I’m now logged in as stephenhughes

    I’d like this acccount moving!
and this page on the forum removing when finished!!!

    Huge thanks again!
    Stephen!

    Hello Jackiedana

My Happiness Engineer, any idea on the progress?

    Stephen Hughes (madebystephenhughes.com)

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi there,

I’ve added both of your blogs under stephenhughes to your thewoodworkshop account, and made thewoodworkshop the owner for both of them. It looks like thewoodworkshop was actually the upgrade owner for both already so that’s already done.

If you wish, you can remove stephenhughes as a user, or leave that account there. That’s up to you.

At any rate, it should all be sorted out so you can access everything again. :)

  • Unknown's avatar

So now, to confirm, you wish to move subscribers and stats from we-love-wood.com (woodworkshop.wordpress.com) to madebystephenhughes.com?

I wanted to double check since we got a little sidetracked along the way. :)

  • Unknown's avatar

Thanks I now can access both websites (the old ~ we-love-wood.com) & (the new ~ madebystephenhughes.com)
I think the subscribers have moved anyway and the stats unless there are some stragglers!

But yes I did want all the members to have moved to the new site!
    and Comments!
I did notice we-love-wood.com is not on the my-blogs list

    http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/

    Thanks Jackiedana!

    You’ve been hard at work!
    Much appreciated!

    All done now!

    Hi again,

Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.

Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.

You might think about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at we-love-wood.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.

    Site Redirect

Also, the reason we-love-wood.com doesn’t show up in your list of blogs is because it is mapped to the underlying site, woodworkshop.wordpress.com, which should appear there.
