How do I get started building the website? Can I change the name of the website to my new domain name? The site was just purchased last night and a domain name at the same time. Nothing has been done toward publishing the site. I got a new domain name this morning and want to use the new one instead. How?? Help??

As for the domain name, we have absolutely no history of domains, sites, purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.
What is the domain name you’re referring to?

I bought a domain name last night…myresinartforyou.com…this morning I purchased another domain name…cherylnugentcreations.com. I want to use my newest one as the name of my website but it has the one I purchased first as the name. I purchased the WordPress site at the same time I purchased the domain name. Not knowing what I was doing, I have done nothing to the site except begun setting up the email. I am not even finished doing that. I am truly hoping I can change the name to my newest one.

Do you have another WordPress.com account? The profile you are using in this thread is only a couple hours old.
Also, are you sure you posted at the right forum? The first site you provided, is made with WordPress.org, the self-hosted version of the WordPress software. This support forum is for WordPress.COM sites. If you are using the self-hosted version, please use the https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ instead.

You have purchased all these products from the hosting provider, Name.com. You’ll need to contact them for help with changing the domain on your site, as they’re the ones that control this.
The forums linked to above is for the WordPress software you’ll be using to build your site, so if you want to know how to do anything in WordPress, that’s the place to ask.
The forum you’ve posted to here is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. Your site is not hosted with us, so we’re not able to help with this.
