I have no idea if my wordpress is under wordpress.com or wordpress.org

    My current website is designed by my previous developer and she have left the company a few years ago. There isnt any username or email id she left for me to access the dashboard. I am now trying to find out how can I regain access to my wordpress dashboard and re-customize my website. How can I get back my user Id or my password? I have however no clue if the website is setup in wordpress.com or wordpress.org. Can anyone offer some assistance over here? I do however have my own hosting and domain, because I purchase the hosting platform and the domain through hostgator. So I have access to these but not wordpress dashboard. Anyone can guide me how I can access to my wordpress dashboard?

    – If your site is using HostGator platform for hosting then you are using WordPress.org
