  i have purchased a theme from elsewhere – how do i set it up

  Hi there,

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but according to this help document here, you cannot upload your own theme from another website. WordPress is highly effective and efficient because they keep it simple–thus, they do not support bringing in themes from outside sources, which might make things much more complicated than they need to be. =)

  Check out WordPress.com’s Theme Showcase (click here) to look for a similar theme–they have hundreds! Additionally, here is a link to everything you need to know about themes on WordPress.com.

  as i understand it so far i can upload a theme through wordpress.org, but it limits file size in a cuip file to 25MB. the file i am trying to upload is only 21.8MB, but it doesn’t load still.
